We make bathroom furniture: vanity units, mirror cabinets with lighting, tall storage, laundry units and benches.
Why ordinary furniture fails here
Constant humidity gets into every unsealed cut. A standard board with glued edging swells along the bottom within a couple of years, usually where it meets the floor and around the sink cut-out. We use moisture-resistant boards, PUR edging with the cuts sealed — including the hidden ones nobody sees — and hardware with anti-corrosion coating. In a coastal flat those three choices decide whether the unit lasts two years or ten.
Wall-mounted rather than floor-standing
A wall-hung vanity keeps the base off a wet floor, makes cleaning easier and dries faster after a spill. Where a floor-standing unit is wanted, we fit adjustable feet instead of a plinth sitting flat on the tiles, so water can run away and air can move underneath.
Storage that matches reality
Drawers rather than a cupboard with a single shelf, because everything in a bathroom is small and gets lost in a deep box. A section sized for the actual bottles, a place for a hairdryer near a socket, space for towels that is not the radiator, and a bin that has a home rather than standing in the middle of the floor.
Mirror and light
A mirror cabinet doubles the storage without taking floor space. Lighting inside and in front of the mirror is wired during the renovation: adding it later means opening the tiles, which is why we ask about it before the electrics are closed.
Timing, price and warranty
Production two to three weeks, installation one day. Warranty: two years on carcass, fronts and fittings.
