Drying matters as much as cleaning
In this humidity a sofa that is over-wetted dries slowly and can end up smelling worse than before. We work with controlled moisture, extract thoroughly rather than leaving the fabric saturated, and plan ventilation and drying time — which is why we ask about your schedule before booking rather than just the address.
Fabric first
Products and method are chosen for the fabric, not applied universally. Velvet, chenille, linen and synthetic blends all behave differently, and a product that is fine on one flattens or marks another. Where a fabric cannot be wet-cleaned safely we say so and offer dry methods instead of risking it.
Mattresses
Worth doing once a season in a rental property and once or twice a year at home. Extraction removes what accumulates — dust, skin cells, dust mites and the residue of spills — and a mattress protector afterwards means the next clean is a formality rather than a rescue.
What comes out and what does not
Most fresh stains come out. Old stains, dye transfer from clothing, sun bleaching and anything that has already been treated with a household product may not clear fully, and we say so before starting rather than after taking payment. We would rather set expectations than deliver a surprise.
