What is included
Furniture from our own workshop: beds with storage, wardrobes, racks for equipment; appliances, heating and fast internet; textiles: warm duvets, blackout curtains, bedding with a reserve; dishes, utensils and consumables; decor, lighting, photography and the listing text.
What matters in Gudauri
The season is short and the most expensive in the country, so the set has to work for four months without replacements. We choose appliances that can be repaired on site or swapped quickly, hard-wearing fabrics and one type of hardware, and keep spare parts in stock: a breakdown over the New Year dates costs more than the entire textile set.
Second, the studios here are small and often have sloping attic ceilings. Storage has to be built into the slopes and under the bed, and the hallway has to hold the equipment of four people. That is solved by designing the furniture, not by buying a ready-made wardrobe.
Timing and price
Two to three weeks from the inspection with furniture from stock. For December the order is placed in September or October. The price depends on the area, the number of beds and the set level: a range by phone, an estimate after the inspection.
What decides it when the price is the same
Gudauri has dozens of similar studios at close prices, and guests choose on the details in the photographs: textiles that look warm, a tidy hallway, a visible place to put the skis. We outfit with that in mind rather than simply filling the flat with furniture until it is liveable.
