Open coast, sand and salt
The wind comes straight off the water and carries both. Moisture-resistant boards, sealed cuts on every edge, hardware with anti-corrosion coating, and abrasion-resistant surfaces where sand is walked in. A bench with storage at the entrance keeps most of the sand out of the rooms, which does more for the state of the furniture than any material choice.
A practical specification, honestly
The season here is shorter and occupancy lower than in Adjara, so we suggest furnishing accordingly: durable and functional rather than decorative, with the money spent on the items guests actually notice — mattresses, storage, a working kitchen — and not on finishes that add cost without adding bookings. If the property is for your own use, that reasoning does not apply and we say so.
Closed out of season
Ventilation gaps behind units on external walls and materials that do not absorb moisture, because the property stands shut for much of the year in damp air.
