We make and fit furniture in Shuakhevi: kitchens, wardrobes and walk-in closets, cabinet and upholstered furniture, bathroom units, doors, staircases and panelling. An hour and a half from our workshop in Batumi along the serpentine.
The road decides the design
Narrow turns and steep village lanes mean a large unit often cannot reach the house in one piece. We measure the route, the gate and the stairs before production and design items as modules that can be carried the last stretch by hand. That also matters later: a module can be removed for repair, a monolithic unit has to be cut.
Solid wood done properly
Kiln-dried timber treated on every face including the back and end grain, panels floating in grooves rather than glued, joints that allow movement. In a house heated through a mountain winter and damp through summer, wood finished on the visible side only twists within a year — the most common defect we are asked to replace here.
Storage for how people actually live
These are year-round homes, so we plan around bulky winter clothing, boots, preserves and tools rather than around a coastal flat’s contents. We ask what goes in before drawing anything, because rails and shelf heights are calculated from real volumes.
Timing, price and warranty
Measuring and design one week, production three to five weeks, assembly in one visit. Two-year warranty with free adjustment in the first year.
