Close to the water, closed half the year
Two conditions shape everything we make here. Salt in the air means hardware with anti-corrosion coating rather than ordinary galvanised fittings, which start to bind within two or three seasons. And the property stands shut from autumn to spring, so the furniture has to survive months of still, damp air: sealed cuts on every edge including the hidden ones, moisture-resistant boards, and a ventilation gap behind any unit against an external wall. Without the gap the owner opens the wardrobe in May to a smell that takes weeks to remove.
Sets for properties that earn
Most orders here are for flats and houses rented by the night. Durable surfaces, simple shapes, beds with storage and one type of hardware kept in stock, so a damaged front or a failed hinge is replaced within a day instead of the unit going dark in August. For several properties we price them as a series with identical modules.
Worktops
Quartz or stone rather than laminate, which swells at the joints in this humidity — usually around the sink within two or three years.
Timing, price and warranty
Production three to four weeks, installation one or two days, planned for autumn and winter on rental properties. Two-year warranty with free adjustment in the first year.
