We make and fit furniture in Mestia: kitchens, wardrobes, beds with storage, bathroom units, doors, staircases, panelling and complete sets for guest rooms. Delivery is planned in batches and assembly happens in one continuous visit.
Solid wood in a heated mountain house
Wood is the natural material here and it is also the one most often ruined. The swing between a damp summer and a dry heated winter is large, so we use kiln-dried timber, treat every face including the back and end grain, let panels float in grooves rather than gluing them, and build joints that allow a few millimetres of movement. Timber finished on the visible side only twists within the first heating season, and that is the defect we are most often called to replace.
Guest rooms need the same things everywhere
A wardrobe with real hanging space rather than a decorative one, a place for a suitcase, hooks by the door, sockets by the bed, and somewhere to dry clothes. Guests arrive off the trails wet and late, and those items appear in reviews far more often than the finish does. For a property with several rooms we build identical modules so a damaged part is swapped from stock.
Delivery and assembly
The route is long, so large items are designed as modules and everything is delivered in planned batches. The crew stays until assembly is finished rather than returning for a second trip.
Timing, price and warranty
Production three to five weeks, assembly one or two days per property. Two-year warranty with spare parts kept in stock.
All services: Mestia.
