We make and fit furniture in Poti: kitchens, wardrobes, cabinet and upholstered furniture, bathroom units, and counters, shelving and workstations for shops and offices. An hour and a half from our workshop in Batumi.
Damp is the local constant
The city stands on water, and ground floors and plinth-level flats carry moisture in the walls. Furniture standing against such a wall without a gap collects condensation behind the back panel and the contents start to smell. Moisture-resistant boards, sealed cuts on every edge and a ventilation gap are standard here, and where the wall reading is high we say plainly that the wall needs dealing with before new furniture goes against it.
Commercial fit-outs
A good share of what we make here is for shops and offices: counters, display shelving, storage and workstations. Commercial furniture takes in a month what a home takes in a year, so edges in contact zones are reinforced, hardware is rated for daily cycles rather than domestic use, and surfaces tolerate cleaning with something stronger than water. Modules are kept identical so a damaged element is swapped without matching anything.
Homes
Older flats here have the usual non-standard dimensions, and made-to-measure closes the dead strips that ready-made modules leave.
Timing, price and warranty
Measuring and design one week, production three to four weeks, installation one or two days, out of hours for a working shop or office. Two-year warranty.
All services: Poti.
