We clean houses, guest properties and apartments in Grigoleti: opening and closing cleans, turnovers in season, mid-stay housekeeping, airing visits in the off season and mould treatment. The team works from our base in Batumi and stays on site at peak.
Eight months closed under pines
Most houses here stand shut from October to late spring in humidity that barely drops under the forest. A house opened after that has a musty smell, damp mattresses and sometimes mould behind furniture and in the bathroom. The opening clean begins with airing and drying the rooms, then covers cupboards, appliances, limescale, grout, soft furnishings and windows. We recommend a few airing visits through the winter: they cost less than the extra work in spring and prevent the damage that no cleaning fully undoes.
Needles, resin and sand
Pine needles and resin collect on terraces and paths and come indoors, together with sand from the beach. Entrance zones, terraces and shower drains are on the checklist for every turnover.
A short family season
Guests stay a week or more, so a mid-stay clean with a linen change keeps the house in shape and makes the final changeover quicker. Linen comes from our laundry rather than being washed and dried in the house.
Closing properly
In autumn we clean, air and shut the house, take out anything that can go mouldy and leave cupboards open. Where mould has appeared, treatment goes with finding the cause.
