A village of fresh renovations
New developments here hand over flats as frames, and many of them are finished in the months before the season. Post-renovation cleaning is done in two passes a day apart, because fine gypsum and cement dust stays in the air for hours and settles again on everything cleaned the first time. We remove grout haze before it hardens, clean inside sockets and on the tops of door frames, and use products matched to new surfaces rather than an abrasive for everything.
Owners who are not here
Most owners in Chakvi live abroad, so the whole arrangement runs remotely: entry by key or lock code, a checklist for every flat, and a photo report after each visit showing the state of the rooms and anything broken or missing. For properties under our management the turnover is triggered by the booking calendar rather than by a phone call.
Opening in May
A flat that stood closed all winter needs a deep clean before the first guest: airing, inside cupboards and appliances, limescale, grout and windows. We schedule it for late April so the photographs are taken on a clean flat.
