Humidity changes what cleaning means
This is the dampest part of the coast, and a house closed for a few weeks does not just gather dust — it grows mould on external walls, in wardrobes and around bathroom silicone, and the mattresses start to smell. So each visit includes airing and a check of the extraction, and in a house that stands empty we recommend scheduled airing visits between guests rather than a single clean before the next arrival. Where mould has already taken hold, treatment goes together with finding where the moisture comes from.
Terraces and vegetation
Leaves, pollen and a green film on paving and outdoor furniture build up quickly here. Terrace cleaning is part of the turnover checklist in season rather than an occasional extra, because it is the first thing guests see from the living room.
Turnovers on steep roads
Narrow roads mean a turnover takes longer than in the city. We tell you the realistic time a changeover needs, so the booking calendar does not promise a gap the house cannot be ready in.
