An hour and a half from our base in Batumi; visits are planned in advance.

What we take into account in Shuakhevi
The first is self-sufficiency. Power cuts happen here, and in an unheated house that means a risk of burst pipework. So winterisation is done with a margin: the external lines are drained, the equipment is protected, and we check how the property would get through several days without power.
The second theme is the slope and the road. At every visit we look at the retaining structures and the drainage, and at the condition of the access: in winter it can be difficult, and that affects how quickly we can reach the property in an emergency. The third is branches over the roof: in the mountains they break up the covering over a winter, so we prune them before the rains.
How it works
A property record, visits on an agreed schedule, utilities from your deposit, a photo report after every visit. By the time you arrive the house is warmed, aired and cleaned.

A retainer based on the property and the frequency of visits, with the trip into the mountains shown as a separate line.
