What we take into account in Khelvachauri
These are mostly houses lived in year-round, and upkeep here is more often needed for an occupied property than an empty one: the owners live in it but do not want to deal with the boiler, the pump, the plot and the contractors themselves. So the schedule is built around regular servicing of the equipment and the grounds rather than around watching over a closed house.
The second theme is water on the plot: the gradient, runoff from the plots above, the condition of the apron and the drainage. Before the rainy season we clear the channels and the gutters and cut back branches over the roof. One day of work in autumn saves several days in spring.
