We inspect houses and guest properties in Mestia and provide technical supervision over construction and renovation. What we check
Foundation, walls and floors, cracks and signs of movement; roof under snow load, junctions and drainage; insulation of the envelope and cold spots with a thermal camera; heating, hot water under simultaneous draw-off, protection of the pipework; electrics, board, earthing and available capacity; the floor area and height against protected-zone restrictions.
What we find in Mestia
The first feature is the structure under snow. Roofs calculated to lowland norms work at their limit here, and it shows in deflections and in the state of the junctions. The second is timber: traditional buildings contain many timber elements, and a moisture meter shows where the process has started long before it is visible to the eye.
The third theme concerns guest properties. We check not only the building but the things that reviews depend on: whether there is enough hot water for all the rooms at once, whether the heating works in every room, and whether there is somewhere to dry clothes and boots. In protected zones we separately compare the height and the external appearance against the restrictions.
Supervision of construction
We come at the key stages before concealed work is closed up: reinforcement, concrete, roof, engineering. A report with photographs after every visit.
Timing and price
A house takes half a day or more, with the report within a day. The inspection is priced by floor area, supervision by the number of visits, and the logistics are shown in the calculation as a separate line.
